1. FREEPORT LISBON FASHION OUTLET – The biggest outlet in Europe 30 minutes from Lisbon

The Freeport is located about 30 minutes from the center of Lisbon, in the town of Alcochete, just after the great bridge built on the Tagus for the 1998 Universal Exhibition, the Vasco da Gama Bridge. With its 75,000 m2 and 140 shops, the Freeport Lisbon Fashion Outlet is the largest outlet in Europe. If you have to go to a single outlet during your stay in Lisbon, it is this one that without any hesitation. Beware, if you want to visit all the shops of the outlet, plan a full day of shopping.
The Freeport also has a terrace floor with restaurants, cinemas and a children’s play area.

2. STRADA SHOPPING & FASHION OUTLET – The outlet of Lisbon suburb
The Strada Outlet is located near the equivalent of the Lisbon ring road (CRIL), in the city of Odivelas. Opened in 2003, this outlet was completely renovated in 2012, when it adopted its current name. On more than 57 000m2, you will discover 143 shops. The area also has a supermarket, 5 cinemas and a food court.

3. CAMPERA OUTLET – 1 hour drive from Lisbon outlet
Campera Outlet is located in Carregado, just after Vila Franca de Xira, about an hour from Lisbon. This was the first outlet opened in Portugal. It has more than 120 shops on 25 000 m2. This set of destocking shops can be an excellent compromise if you have to go to the north of Portugal because it will be on your way.

4. CENTRO DE OPORTUNIDADES EL CORTE INGLÊS – 4,000 m2 of bargains
El Corte Inglês sells on 4000 m2 articles of any brand and range that are sold especially in its department store in Lisbon (cited in my article on shopping centers you should not miss in Lisbon). The store is located just outside Lisbon, in the city of Amadora, in the heart of the Dolce Vita Tejo shopping center. If you go to this store, plan a little time to be able to search in the shelves, which are not always tidy. However, it is possible to do good deals, at very low prices. Discounts start at a minimum of -50%.

5. GATEOUTLET – Known as the most trendy outlet in Lisbon
The Gateoutlet store was opened in October 2015 by Marta Fonseca, who was only 21 years old at the time! Its goal is to offer a destocking store that doesn’t look like other stores that sell promotional items up to -50%. Thus, when you come to Gateoutlet, you will not see signs showing percentages of reduction. Marta does not want it, she prefers to offer a window and a more alternative interior decoration, a bit like a concept store. Note that even visual merchandisers participated in the construction of the shop, it is rare for an outlet store! In the shop, you will find Levi’s brands, Pepe Jeans, Luís Onofre, Melissa and many other brands. Note that the unsold products come from the company Gate Eleven, which manages several multi-brand stores in Portuguese airports, such as the brands under its own brand but also Fashion Gate, Maxmara and Tumi. Finally, note that besides being the manager of Gateoutlet, Marta manages the marketing of the family business.

6. STOCK SHOP STIVALI – Great luxury destocked again
Stivali is a brand that owns 2 multi-brand stores in Lisbon and an outlet that sells luxury goods and is worth the trip. Hidden in a street parallel to the very chic Avenida da Liberdade, you will find great brands destocked like Jimmy Choo, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Givenchy, Ralph Lauren, Pucci etc. Like the Fashion Clinic outlet, quoted above, this store was for a long time a confidential address where you had to know the address and ring the bell to be able to access it. Now, since his move, the shop has become famous. We are here, as for the Fashion Clinic Outlet, in the luxury and prices remain high but the discounts are substantial. For instance, an item initially € 900 can go to € 200, whether shoes, bags, clothes or accessories.

7. FILIPE FAISCA STORE & ATELIER – Outlet in March and February
Filipe Faísca (born in 1964) is a great name in Portuguese fashion who currently lives and works in Lisbon. In 1991, at the age of 27, he presented his first collection. In 1992, he opened his studio and in 1993 he worked as an assistant for Ana Salazar, another great name in Portuguese fashion. In parallel with the development of his own collections, he developed costumes for theater, opera, ballet and cinema. He also created uniforms for hotels, restaurants and discotheques (like Le Lux for example). Since 2006, Filipe Faísca presents its collections twice a year during Lisbon Fashion Week, Moda Lisboa. In 2007 and 2015, he received the award for best Portuguese fashion designer. In 2007, he created Hermès boutiques in Lisbon and in Algarve, as well as Fashion Clinic stores in Lisbon and Porto. More recently, between 2011 and 2014, he collaborated with the Triumph lingerie brand. And in 2013, he made the ready-to-wear collection of the Fashion Clinic brand boutique.
Filipe Faísca shop always offers discounts on recent or current collections (watch the facebook page of the shop listed below). But it is twice in the year that the reductions are the most interesting. During the months of May and October, the old collections are sold from 70 to 80%. An address you should not miss, especially at these times of the year. Small tip : these sales are in the back of the boutique-workshop.

8. LANIDOR LOFT – A beautiful Portuguese ready-to-wear brand for women
Lanidor is a Portuguese brand of ready-to-wear for women, its style is classic and chic. In this destocking shop, you will find the previous collections of the brand with discounts up to 70%. Other destocking stores are available in outlets shopping malls such as Freeport, Campera or Strada, mentioned above.

9. CHICCO OUTLET – For the little ones
In the Chicco outlets, a brand for children, no need to introduce it, you will find clothes, toys, accessories, chairs and many other accessories. You will find a wide selection of items at low prices whether it is shoes, pants, t-shirts or hats. But also chairs and clothes for pregnant women. When it comes to toys, the more you take, the bigger the reduction is. Very good deal too : some childcare items are at extremely low prices simply because the packaging is damaged.
